There's so much to do here at Fox Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Burnt Cabins Grist Mill Ye Olde Mill Campground is a brilliant location for that, and get soaked paddling on Sideling Hill Creek. at Fox Trail you could always explore Cowans Gap, and The Narrows is a good place to check out. Fox Trail is located quite a long drive from Chambersburg but hiking it is always fun. A short trip to House Spring is always worthwhile; whitewater paddling is fine on Licking Creek.
| While you're here at Fox Trail you will meet lots of folks from close by Chambersburg; Gum Spring is an inspiring location to stop at during your stay. Summertime highs at Fox Trail usually tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Fox Trail dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
