With so many outdoors activities available in Pennsylvania you'll never get bored. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Frederick Trail in Union County, Pennsylvania is just the place. What a location this is for outdoors people. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Ice Spring. There are some great whitewater spots on White Deer Creek, and Cranberry Flat is a tremendous location. The yearly rain here at Frederick Trail is about average; June is     the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January. Getting to Panther Run from Frederick Trail is simple, and Frederick Trail is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Penn's Creek Camp Ground is a glorious location to camp nearby. At Frederick Trail throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Frederick Trail. There's whitewater on Elk Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Mountain Lake Campground is a great local campground.
