Frenchman Trail

This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. You'll have to go far from State College to get to Frenchman Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Some of the water close by flows, like Kyler Fork, and a tour to Sinnemahoning State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Horse Fork is a pleasant spot to have a look at; Frenchman Trail is not far at all from Clarence. Stay the night at
Snow Shoe Park; a delightful location is Frenchman Hollow. Kettle Creek State Park is a perfect campground nearby, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Moshannon River. Yeah, come here to Frenchman Trail for a great time.
Black Moshannon Creek is a nice whitewater spot near Frenchman Trail. During the summertime here at Frenchman Trail, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Frenchman Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Frenchman Trail is a relatively wet place typically with much precipitation. Most of the rain falls throughout June, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
