| | Frenchman Trail is located quite a long drive from State College but what a great place for hiking it is. This is a really good river. If you come at the right time of year, Black Moshannon Creek offers some tremendous whitewater; you're sure to stumble upon some cheerful people from State College here. Be careful coming to Frenchman Trail, you might not ever want to go back home again.
While staying at Frenchman Trail you could always discover Frenchman Hollow, and float down the rapids of Moshannon River in a kayak. It's a pleasant idea to go to |
Horse Fork, it's next to Frenchman Trail. There's so much to do here at Frenchman Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Snow Shoe Park is a nice place for that. Pennsylvania is a great place for hikers.
