| | Gamble Trail is located quite a long drive from Lock Haven but it sure is a nice trail. Some close by water includes Gamble Fork. Summer at Gamble Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Gamble Trail are in the 10's.
Why not camp at Happy Acres Resort while you're here at Gamble Trail, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Larrys Creek. There are plenty of people from Lock Haven here at Gamble Trail, and getting to Schultz |
Fork from Gamble Trail is trouble-free. This is such a great river. If you came for an overnight stay Sunrise Campgrounds is a wonderful location to camp, and there's whitewater on Slate Run for all you thrill seekers.
From a precipitation point of view Gamble Trail is a quite normal spot; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is January.
