While visiting this area in Pennsylvania it's a good idea to go hiking too. You'll have to go far from Cumberland to get to Gum Spring Trail but it is a great escape from the city. Gum Spring Trail is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Rocky Gap State Park is a delightful local campground, and Town Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. this area. If you came to camp Hidden Springs Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Flintstone Creek. Gum Spring Trail gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain,
