| | If you are in Pennsylvania during hiking season you have to go hiking. Halsey Trail gets a common amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. A good place to camp here at Halsey Trail is Nelson Run Camping Resort.
At Halsey Trail through the warm months highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Halsey Trail are in the 10's. Ayers |
Shanty Run is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cross Fork. Far from civilization you find Halsey Trail and it is a fun place to hike for the whole family.
