Miners Run is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Hardwood Trail, and Hardwood Trail is a nice place to visit for more than one day, The Best Beach Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. Take a side visit to Swamp Run, and Hardwood Trail is a spot with many visitors from Sayre. All through the long summer days at Hardwood Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in     the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hardwood Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Hardwood Trail; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. Hardwood Trail is not very near Sayre at all but It's always fun to hike here.
