Heath Trail

  A long drive separates Chambersburg from Heath Trail, but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Pennsylvania is a great place for hikers. Do set aside some time for The Narrows since you're here at Heath Trail. There are some good whitewater spots on Big Cove Creek. Stay the night at Burnt Cabins Grist Mill Ye Olde Mill Campground; of course, A journey to Cowans Gap is always fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Heath Trail has to
    offer, you can camp at Mountain Lake Cabins. If you come at the right time of year, Licking Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. If you're stopping by Heath Trail from Burnt Cabins, you won't be the only one. Heath Trail is a good
spot of typical rain. June is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. At Heath Trail through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Heath Trail night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's.
