Holiday Pines Campground is a tremendous campground nearby; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Elk Creek. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Heintz Trail is excellent!. Summertime highs at Heintz Trail generally tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Heintz Trail sink into     the 10's. Heintz Trail gets a typical amount of rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. The smiling people of Lewisburg like to hang out nearby, and Heintz Trail is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Mountain Lake Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby. Yankee Run is a lovely stream that is worth a visit; you can run the rapids of White Deer Creek. Visit Eastville Run while you're here at Heintz Trail, and while you're here why not go to Frederick Gap.
