| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Hines Trail in Bedford County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best. Devils Alley Campground is a glorious campground here; White Oak Hollow is another tremendous spot to visit nearby. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Town Creek.
Hines Trail is a trail quite far from Winchester but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Hines Trail; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. |
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Fifteen Mile Creek; you can stay the night at Little Orleans Campground.
Through the months of summer here at Hines Trail, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hines Trail.
