| | Holland Run Trail is located quite a long drive from Lock Haven but hiking it is great fun any time. During the summer highs here at Holland Run Trail get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Holland Run Trail tend to be in the 10's. Looking for some flowing water? Try North Fork Tangascootack Creek, and whitewater paddling is good on Young Womans Creek.

people from Lock Haven here, and paddling on Slate Run is so much fun. Little Buckhorn Hollow is near Holland Run Trail and is positively a nice location to stop by, and why not camp at Sunrise Campgrounds if you're here at Holland Run Trail.
Pennsylvania is a great place for
| hikers. Bird Run is a perfect local stream, and Little Place Camping Area is a delightful local campground. From a precipitation point of view Holland Run Trail is a reasonably common site; during June this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
