| | Pretty far from Chambersburg you find Horseshoe Trail but hiking it is great fun any time. Hiking in Pennsylvania is such a great thing to do. If you came for an overnight stay Saunderosa Park is a good spot to camp, and do set aside some time for The Cove if you're here at Horseshoe Trail.
Camping is available at Saint Johns Church Camp, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at House Spring. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Licking Creek; if you're here, you might as well take a look at Cowans Gap. |
Horseshoe Trail is a good place of common rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
