| | Outdoors people generally like this part of Pennsylvania. It's a long drive from Lock Haven to Hyner View Trail but it's one of those places where hiking is great. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hyner View Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Hyner View Trail temperatures descend to the 10's.

View Trail; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Slate Run. An average amount of rain falls at Hyner View Trail; during June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
