  Jim Trail gets a typical amount of annual rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month is January. Jim Trail is located quite a long drive from Winchester but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it.
A brilliant spot for whitewater paddling next to Jim Trail is Fifteen Mile Creek, and close by you find Blues Gap which is a fine site to stop by. During the summer months at Jim Trail highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter
    are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Jim Trail sink into the 10's. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Town Creek. There's so much to do here at Jim Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Devils Alley Campground is a great location for that.
If you came to camp Little Orleans Campground is a great site to do that.
