| | Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and King Trail in Fulton County, Pennsylvania is a perfect place for getting out. King Trail is a long drive away from Chambersburg but hiking it is great fun any time. Sand Spring is a gorgeous place to have a look at while you're at King Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Licking Creek. A short spree to Richmond Spring is always worthwhile.

| winter at King Trail temperatures fall to the 10's. At this river you will never have a bad time. There's so much to do here at King Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Saunderosa Park is a splendid place for that, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Chambersburg.
Stay the night at Saint Johns Church Camp; Sideling Hill Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Pennsylvania has so much to offer nature lovers. | |
