This river has it all. You can run the rapids of Young Womans Creek in close proximity to Klondike Trail; why not a little side journey to Indian Run. Visit Whitman Branch while you're here at Klondike Trail, and why not camp at Pine Creek Vista Campgrounds since you're here at Klondike Trail. High temperatures at Klondike Trail during the warmest time of the year |
are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Klondike Trail.
The annual precipitation here at Klondike Trail is about average; most of the rain
| falls during June, and February is when it's the driest. There's whitewater on Slate Run for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and camping is available at Kearse's Campground. Pipe Line Hollow is a good site to check out right next door to Klondike Trail, and the smiling people of Lock Haven like to hang out close by.
