Lots of people from Lewistown come to Kratzer Trail. There's so much to do here at Kratzer Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hartman Center Camp Cnfrnc is a nice place for that. Kratzer Trail gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. Potlicker Flats is a perfect place, and Short Drive Gap is around here, and is a magnificent spot. Kishacoquillas Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you     can stay the night at Bob Kearns Campgrounds. So many cool things to do at Kratzer Trail, so little time. Don't forget to take a glorious little tour to Greens Valley Stream. All through the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Kratzer Trail. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Kratzer Trail. Paddling on Elk Creek is so much fun, and it's a perfect idea to pop by Lingle Stream.
