Left Frying Pan Trail is a tremendous place to camp, Kearse's Campground is a tremendous place; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine Creek. Kenshire Kampsite is a good campground here; Frying Pan Hollow is also a splendid site to look at. Left Asaph Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. It's a long drive from Corning to Left Frying Pan Trail but hiking is such     a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Left Frying Pan Trail gets a normal amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest of the months is January. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Left Frying Pan Trail. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
