| | It's a long drive from Winchester to Lester Trail but hiking it is great fun any time. For the period of the days of summer at Lester Trail highs are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lester Trail plunge into the 10's. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Lester Trail in Bedford County, Pennsylvania is a great place to go.

to camp here at Lester Trail is Devils Alley Campground, and get drenched paddling on Town Creek. Nearby Blues Gap is a perfect location to go if you're at Lester Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Fifteen Mile Creek. Lester Trail is a good place of common precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
Camping is available at Little Orleans Campground.
