Through the days of summer here at Log Hollow Trail, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Log Hollow Trail.

This is such a fun river. Kyler Fork is a stream that you may run into while here; Panther Hollow is positively a magnificent spot to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Log Hollow Trail
| that you need to camp here for a while, Fort Bellefonte Campground is a great site for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Moshannon River offers some delightful whitewater. Log Hollow Trail is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most while January is generally the driest month.
