| | There are some delightful whitewater spots on Licking Creek, and there's whitewater on Sideling Hill Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. If you came for an overnight stay Twin Bridge Meadow Family Campground is a perfect site to camp; during your journey here you'll meet some people from Chambersburg for sure.
At Lookout Trail through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Lookout Trail overnight low temperatures throughout the |
winter are in the 10's. Saint Johns Church Camp is a magnificent campground here; since you're here why not check out Keefer Gap. Pretty far from Chambersburg you find Lookout Trail but it sure is a nice trail.
The yearly rainfall here at Lookout Trail is about average; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest.
