Here at Lookout Trail you'll in all probability meet some folks from Chambersburg, and paddling on Sideling Hill Creek is so much fun. From a rain point of view Lookout Trail is a rather typical place; June is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Camping at Twin Bridge Meadow Family Campground is always a great experience, and Keefer Gap is also a tremendous place |
to discover.
A splendid site to camp here at Lookout Trail is Burnt Cabins Grist Mill Ye Olde Mill Campground, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Licking Creek. For the duration of the summer highs here at Lookout Trail get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lookout Trail.
