| | Mackey Trail is not very near Chambersburg at all but it is one of many great trails in this area. You'll meet a lot of folks from Chambersburg here; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Licking Creek. Bear Valley is in the neighborhood of Mackey Trail and is undeniably a glorious site to stop at, and there's whitewater on Sideling Hill Creek for all you adrenaline people.
Camping is available at Burnt Cabins Grist Mill Ye Olde Mill Campground, and a good spot to camp here at Mackey Trail is Twin Bridge Meadow |
