Pretty far from State College you find Marsh Creek Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. Marsh Creek Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bellefonte/State Coll KOA is a good local campground, and you'll possibly meet some people from State College here. The warmest time of the year at Marsh Creek Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. |
For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Marsh Creek Trail sink into the 10's.
Young Womans Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot
| near Marsh Creek Trail. If you came to camp Fort Bellefonte Campground is a great site to do that, and some of the water nearby flows, like Council Run.
Marsh Creek Trail is a good location of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and January is the month with the least moisture. Laurel Run is a good location to check out, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Black Moshannon Creek. | |
