Pretty far from Lock Haven you find McClure Run Trail but It's always fun to hike here. Float down the rapids of Slate Run in a kayak, and why not a little side tour to Bluestone Run. This river is so perfect. Happy Acres Resort is a great campground here, and this is a popular site for folks from Lock Haven. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar Run; camping at McClure Run Trail is great fun, Little Place Camping Area is a great local campground. Solomon Run is a great local stream.
