| | Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, McClure Trail in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania is a perfect place for getting out. Pennsylvania has lots of outdoors activities. Summertime at McClure Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at McClure Trail drop into the 10's. This river is a great place to visit. There are some good whitewater spots on Cedar Run, and you're sure to run into some friendly folks from Lock Haven here. If you come at the right time of year, Slate Run
| offers some good whitewater. You'll have to go far from Lock Haven to get to McClure Trail but hiking it is great fun any time.
There's so much to do here at McClure Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Happy Acres Resort is a pleasant place for that, and don't forget to take a great little visit to Bluestone Run. Stay the night at Little Place Camping Area, and do check out Solomon Run if you're here at McClure Trail. | |
