| | It's a long drive from Lock Haven to Middle Hill Trail but what a great place for hiking it is. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Pennsylvania. A journey to Pine Hollow is always fun, and if you're popping by from Lock Haven, you won't be the only one. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Middle Hill Trail reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while Middle Hill Trail overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.

a magnificent time here at Middle Hill Trail. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Upper Pine Bottom Run. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Middle Hill Trail has to offer, you can camp at Happy Acres Resort. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Slate Run, and
| why not stop by nearby Lower Pine Bottom Run if you're here at Middle Hill Trail.
This is such a great river. There are some fine whitewater spots on Cedar Run. There's so much to do here at Middle Hill Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Little Place Camping Area is a brilliant site for that. Middle Hill Trail gets a normal amount of precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January.
