Why not camp at Five Pines Camping and Recreation while you're here at Mile Trail. Mile Trail is a long drive away from Morgantown but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Mile Trail get into the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun     is down throughout the winter temperatures at Mile Trail descend into the 10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Fike Run; why not stop at Hutchinson Reservoir Dam Number Two since you're here. Camping at Mile Trail is good fun, Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins is a good local campground, and the great folks of Morgantown like to hang out nearby. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Big Sandy Creek, and there's a great forest called Forbes State Forest.
