Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Young Womans Creek; camping at Little Place Camping Area is always a nice experience. Camping is available at Sunrise Campgrounds; Oak Ridge Trail is a place with many visitors from Lock Haven. Ferney Run is a pleasant spot to have a look at, and Deep Hollow is a great location to visit. At Oak Ridge Trail throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's with     nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Oak Ridge Trail temperatures sink to the 10's. There's whitewater on Slate Run for all you adrenaline junkies.
