| | Can’t wait to get out in nature, Old House Trail in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania is a perfect place for getting out. Hiking here in Pennsylvania is a must. You'll meet a lot of folks from Sayre here It's always great to stop at Dry Run Falls. An average amount of rainfall falls at Old House Trail; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest.
A great place to camp here at Old House Trail is Buttermilk Falls Campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Angel Falls while you're here at Old House Trail. Elk Creek |
has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and some of the water nearby flows, like Kettle Creek. Old House Trail is not very near Sayre at all but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable.
During the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at
| Old House Trail, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Old House Trail drop into the 10's. Camping is available at Hemlock Valley Campground; swing by Dry Run it's a nice place to check out.
Old House Trail in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. If you fancy a little side spree, try Kettle Creek Gorge, and whitewater paddling is great on Loyalsock Creek. | |
