| | For the period of the days of summer at Old Mail Trail temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Old Mail Trail are in the 10's. If you came to camp Reserve World is a splendid place to do that; the cheerful folks of Cumberland like to hang out nearby. Old Mail Trail is a good location of typical rain; most of the rain falls through June while October is mostly the driest month. This is no site for people who don’t like to have |
fun. Little Wills Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and let's not forget Grim Run which is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. Old Mail Trail is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Choice Camping Court is a pleasant local
| campground; a good location for whitewater paddling is Wills Creek. Old Mail Trail is located quite a long drive from Cumberland but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Reservoir Hollow is a wonderful place to spend some time at, and Evitts Creek is a delightful whitewater spot close by.
