| | Old Ramp Trail is a trail quite far from Chambersburg but it is a great escape from the city. A tour to Three Square Hollow is always fun; if you came for an overnight stay Kennedy Valley Recreation Area is a pleasant spot to camp. Summer at Old Ramp Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Old Ramp Trail sink into the 10's.

run the rapids of Conewago Creek - West near Old Ramp Trail, and camping is available at Dogwood Acres. This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season.
