| | Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Pine Trail in Tioga County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best. A long drive separates Lock Haven from Pine Trail, but it's one of those places where hiking is great. There's so much to do here at Pine Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pettecote Junction Campground is a glorious place for that.
There are some glorious whitewater spots on Pine Creek, and since you're here, you could have a look at Pine Island Run. Since you're here at Pine Trail why not explore Gundigut Valley, and |

if you came to camp Pine Creek Valley Camping is a great location to do that. High temperatures at Pine Trail during the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the
| 20's, and night lows at Pine Trail through the wintertime frequently sink into the 10's.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cedar Run, and it's a splendid idea to go to Rail Island Run. The annual rain here at Pine Trail is about average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. | |
