Pine Trail is in close proximity to Gundigut Valley which is certainly worth stopping at; hey, Rail Island Run is a wonderful local stream. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Pine Trail. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pine Trail are in the 10's. This is a really good     river. Get dripping wet paddling on Pine Creek, and swing by Pine Island Run it's a tremendous location to pop by. Why not camp at Pine Creek Valley Camping if you're here at Pine Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar Run, and camping is available at Pettecote Junction Campground.
