The high level of rainfall makes Pinnacle Trail a relatively wet spot; through June this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whitewater paddling is great on Spring Brook; camping is available at Highland Camp Ground. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawanna River. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the     70's at Pinnacle Trail. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pinnacle Trail are in the 10's.
