Pitch Pine Trail

A long drive separates State College from Pitch Pine Trail, but it is a really good trail. Hiking in Pennsylvania is such a great thing to do. A magnificent location like Sinnemahoning State Park close to Pitch Pine Trail is too tremendous to leave out, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Young Womans Creek. If you came to camp Kettle Creek State Park is a wonderful location to do that; you'll meet a lot of folks from Westport here. Some nearby
water includes Cole Run, and Pitch Pine Trail is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Quiet Oaks Campground is a delightful local campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cross Fork, and a good location to stop at is
Pitch Pine Hollow. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great planet it would be. Summerson Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pitch Pine Trail a wet site. June is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Pitch Pine Trail. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
