Reeder Trail

  A long drive separates Lock Haven from Reeder Trail, but it is a good trail. With so many outdoors activities available in Pennsylvania you'll never get bored. Lots of folks from Hyner come to Reeder Trail, and swing by Spring Run it's a nice place to pop by. A good site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Reeder Trail is Slate Run, and Reeder Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Little Place Camping Area is a fine local campground.
    In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Young Womans Creek. Camping at Pettecote Junction Campground is always a fine experience; don't leave without dropping by Ole Bull State Park.
Summertime at Reeder Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Reeder Trail temperatures dip to the 10's. Reeder Trail gets a normal amount of precipitation. The month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
