Kenshire Kampsite is a nice local campground; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine Creek. Refuge Trail is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Kearse's Campground
| is a tremendous site to camp nearby; obviously Stowell Run flows through this neighborhood. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Cedar Run.
Orchard Spring is always fun to check out; a quick trip to Fourmile Run is certainly a wonderful idea. Refuge Trail is located quite a long drive from Lock Haven but it is a great escape from the city. | |
