Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pine Creek, and a visit to Orchard Spring will fill your soul with great feelings. It's a perfect idea to have a look at Fourmile Run, it's in the neighborhood of Refuge Trail; camping at Kearse's Campground is always a splendid experience. There are some great whitewater spots on Cedar Run. From a rainfall point of view Refuge Trail is a relatively typical place; the month of June is the wettest with     most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Refuge Trail during the warm months are in the 70's, and the night is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Refuge Trail. This river is so wonderful.
