  Hiking here in Pennsylvania is a must. It's a long drive from Lock Haven to Reynolds Spring Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Looking for some flowing water? Try Buck Run, and Leonard Harrison State Park is both good and beautiful. Reynolds Spring Trail is not far at all from Gaines, and of course, A trip to Beaver Hollow is always fun. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Reynolds Spring Trail has
    to offer, you can camp at Kearse's Campground. Frying Pan Run is a splendid local stream; you can stay the night at Pettecote Junction Campground. In case you donít have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Slate Run. Cedar Run is a pleasant whitewater spot right next door to Reynolds Spring Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Reynolds Spring Trail, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's.
