| | A visit to Pennsylvania is not complete without some hiking. All through the summertime at Riffle Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Riffle Trail tend to be in the 10's. Riffle Trail is located quite a long drive from Williamsport but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice.

to Butternut Grove Run while you're here. Looking for some flowing water? Try Dry Run, and you can stay the night at Benson's Trailer Park. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Riffle Trail has it all.

| Hollow; The Best Beach Campground is a fine campground here. The yearly rain here at Riffle Trail is about average; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; January is the month with the least moisture. During your spree to Riffle Trail you'll meet some folks from Williamsport for sure, and if you come at the right time of year, Elk Creek offers some splendid whitewater.
