| | This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Roaring Run Trail is not very near Huntingdon at all but hiking it is always fun. From a precipitation point of view Roaring Run Trail is a relatively typical place; through May this area sees the most rain while January is generally the driest month. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Roaring Run Trail has to offer, you can camp at Brush Creek Campground, and some nearby water includes West Fork Roaring Run.

Mine Gap is a good spot to visit next to Roaring Run Trail; Licking Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. | |
