  Hiking here in Pennsylvania is a must. At Salt Lick Trail throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Salt Lick Trail are in the 10's. The yearly rain here at Salt Lick Trail is about average; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is generally the driest month.
There are some good whitewater spots on Young Womans Creek, and it's a tremendous idea to pop by Salt Lick Run. Near
    Salt Lick Trail you stumble on splendid locations like Trapping Hollow, and KOA Kampgrounds is a great local campground. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time.
The great folks of State College like to hang out close by, and whitewater paddling is not
for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Elk Creek. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Salt Lick Trail in Centre County, Pennsylvania is a great place to go. If you came for an overnight stay Bellefonte/State Coll KOA is a delightful place to camp, and don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Big Run.
