| | Short Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; all through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. So much amusing stuff to do here at Short Trail, too brilliant to be true.
If you are in Pennsylvania during hiking season you have to go hiking. It's a perfect idea to check out North Run, it's near Short Trail. There's so much to do here at Short Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hemlock Acres Campground is a delightful place for that. Kephart Dam is a location that is in the vicinity of Short |
Trail; paddling on Moshannon River is so much fun.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Short Trail has to offer, you can camp at Snow Shoe Park, and there are plenty of people from State College here at Short Trail. A quick tour to Benner Run in close proximity
| to Short Trail is a tremendous idea, and Black Moshannon Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. High temperatures at Short Trail through the summertime are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Short Trail.
