| | No chance of getting bored in Pennsylvania if you like the outdoors. You'll have to go far from Lock Haven to get to Shutman Path but what a great place for hiking it is. This is a great river. Why not camp at Little Place Camping Area if you're here at Shutman Path, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dry Run. If you come at the right time of year, Cedar Run offers some great whitewater; Hell Hollow is a fine site to spend some time.

Lock Haven. Very nice water scenery is available at Little Pine Dam close to Shutman Path, and camping is available at Happy Acres Resort. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stony Fork Creek; why not take a little tour to Bush Run since
| you're here.
An average amount of rain falls at Shutman Path; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Lycoming County of Pennsylvania, Shutman Path is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Through the warm months here at Shutman Path, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Shutman Path.
