| | Slide Hollow Trail is located quite a long drive from DuBois but it sure is a nice trail. At Slide Hollow Trail all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Slide Hollow Trail nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. The high level of precipitation makes Slide Hollow Trail a rather wet location; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.

on Black Moshannon Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. There's so much to do here at Slide Hollow Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Snow Shoe Park is a nice spot for that. Not far from Slide Hollow Trail you obtain some good water scenery at Dayton Dam. You'll need
