Smith Trail is a trail quite far from Winchester but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Through the months of summer highs here at Smith Trail reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Smith Trail tend to be in the 10's. Town Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can stay the night     at Little Orleans Campground. Smith Trail gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. Paddling on Fifteen Mile Creek is so much fun.
