  We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Smiths Run Trail in Clinton County, Pennsylvania is a perfect place for getting out. Hiking here in Pennsylvania is a must. Get covered with water paddling on Cross Fork, and do stop at Cooks Run if you're here at Smiths Run Trail. Smiths Run Trail is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Quiet Oaks Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Young Womans Creek;
    swing by Left Fork Smith Run it's a pleasant spot to visit. This is a popular spot for folks from Westport, and Sinnemahoning State Park is a great site to stop by on a beautiful day. Kettle Creek State Park is a magnificent local
campground, and Log Hollow is also a glorious place to explore. This is no place for people who donít like to enjoy themselves. Smiths Run Trail sees pretty high levels of rain. The month with most of the rain is June; January is when it's the driest. All through the summertime months at Smiths Run Trail temperatures are usually in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Smiths Run Trail overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
