Don't forget to take a brilliant little trip to Cooper Run; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Larrys Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Elk Creek offers some splendid whitewater, and a great place to camp here at Snead Hol Trail is Sunrise Campgrounds.
Just can't get enough of Snead Hol Trail. Washburn Run is a delightful stream that is worth visiting, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Lock Haven.

Places like Chestnut Flat are tremendous to stop at, and camping at Holiday Pines Campground is always a magnificent experience. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Snead Hol Trail. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration
| of the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Snead Hol Trail plunge into the 10's.
