| | Turkey Pens Trail is not very near Lewistown at all but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. From a precipitation point of view Turkey Pens Trail is a rather normal spot; the month with most of the rain is June, and January is the month with the least moisture. Nearby First Narrows is a perfect place to go if you're at Turkey Pens Trail, and camping at Dogwood Acres is always a good experience.
