| | A long drive separates State College from Turkey Trail, but it is one of many great trails in this area. If you are in Pennsylvania during hiking season you have to go hiking. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. Bartley Run flows through this region, and lots of people from State College come here. Camping at Turkey Trail is fine fun, Fort Bellefonte Campground is a fine local campground, and there's whitewater on Young Womans Creek for all you thrill seekers.
