This river is a great place to visit. Young Womans Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and Dry Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. At Turnippatch Trail you always meet someone from Lock Haven, and Barney Run is right next door to Turnippatch Trail and is always a diversion to pop by.
