| | Van Ripper Trail is located quite a long drive from Lock Haven but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. A visit to Pennsylvania is not complete without some hiking. This river has it all. Georges Hollow is right next door to Van Ripper Trail and is a tremendous location. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Van Ripper Trail has to offer, you can camp at Nelson Run Camping Resort. For the duration of the months of summer here at Van Ripper Trail, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to |
the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Van Ripper Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
Van Ripper Trail is a wonderful site to camp, Austin Campground is a wonderful site; some nearby water includes Right
| Fork Hevner Run. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Van Ripper Trail in Clinton County, Pennsylvania is just what you need. If you come at the right time of year, Cross Fork offers some glorious whitewater, and Van Ripper Trail is not far at all from Lock Haven.
